Frequently Asked Questions

If you can't find an answer to your question, we'll be happy to help. Drop us a line on hello@systemflow.co

How do you handle orders?
You will receive your copy of SystemFlow v1 within 48 hours (working days) of filling the after-purchase form. Figma version can be downloaded right after ordering.
What's the difference between TEAM and SOLO?
Solo license is for freelancers who work on Webflow projects on their own. It includes one seat and you cannot transfer SystemFlow to your co-workers. Team license is for agencies and teams of 2 or more people, working together. With the team license you can transfer SystemFlow to unlimited users within your organisation. Both license version allow you to transfer readymade project to clients, excluding the framework pages (needs to be deleted upfront - we recommend keeping the copy on your account). Not sure which one to pick? Email us at hello@systemflow.co!
Can I upgrade from BASIC or SOLO?
Yes. For now we're processing update requests via email. Please send an upgrade request to hello@systemflow.co and we'll send you the coupon for the amount you previously paid that can be used to purchase the new version.
What is the difference between the version with and without updates?
If you decide to buy BASIC version you will get the framework files in the newest version available at the time of purchase. We usually ship updates each month, adding new components, fixing bugs etc. You will not get the updated version unless it fixes a major bug in SystemFlow. To receive regular updates, new components and more - you need to get SOLO or TEAM plan. You can upgrade from BASIC to SOLO - just email us and we'll provide the details.
How do I onboard my Teammates
In the email you get right after purchase we send out the form that you can use to onboard and revoke access for your Teammates in case you bought TEAM license.
Can I use SystemFlow for multiple projects?
Yes! This is exactly why we've built it and will make us happy!
What if I lose or mess up my version of SystemFlow?
No worries. First of all, we highly recommend to always duplicate SystemFlow Project and only then work on a copy for a fresh page. That being said if you made changes to the core you can always revert them with version history feature in Webflow. But if for any reason you'd like to request a clean copy - in the email right after purchase we link the request form link. It will also let you request freebies. Please allow up to 48 working hours for the requested copy to be transferred to your account. And make sure you have sufficient space on Webflow account to accept new Projects. SystemFlow for Figma doesn't need you to request - you can download it from our Dropbox account.
How will I get the updates?
For Solo and Team Packages, we'll deliver updates on regular basis. You'll get an email with access to the newest version of the Framework.
How often will you release updates?
We plan to release updates on monthly basis, until we run out of ideas. But rest assured, we'll push a lot of great updates, and rely on your ideas as well. Please, use this form to suggest an update or feedback. We also run the Changelog with previous versions and planned updates. Updating the framework is natural as we use it in our day-to-day work. It will also get better with both Webflow's and Figma updates.
Do I have to pay for the updates?
If you purchased SOLO or TEAM you get all the updates for free. For the BASIC Package you won't be able to get the updates, unless you upgrade to higher plan. You can upgrade from any plan by paying the difference - please reach out to us at hello@systemflow.co. In future, we might introduce an extra plan especially for our Live Components as some of them might require server processing.
Is it possible to migrate my existing project to SystemFlow?
In short - no. Webflow's abilities to re-use elements from different projects are limited. The way we think of SystemFlow now is being able to start a new project with the most current version of SystemFlow, and keep using it for this project. Applying SystemFlow to an existing project is close to impossible, if you really want to have the framework available for your finished project you'd have to re-create it starting with SystemFlow.
Is it possible to upgrade the version of SystemFlow for an existing project? For example made with SF v 1.0 to be able to use Live Components from 1.1?
Webflow's abilities to re-use elements from different projects are limited. The way we think of SystemFlow now is being able to start a new project with the most current version of SystemFlow, and keep using it for this project. Migrating projects between different versions of SystemFlow is in general - not recommended.

That being said there are some ways to use new Components in the old projects. Let's say you want to bring in one of the new Live Components into an existing project. In order to do it you'd like to follow this procedure:
1. Use one of the Style Guide Page or Empty Style Guide Page Template
2. Copy the component from new version and paste it on this page
3. Likely, pasted component will be unliked and its classes changed into eg. "Body Text 2". You'd have to remove this new classes and apply the ones from your framework, eg. "Body Text". If there are combo classes, you need to re-create the structure of combo classes with class names in your current project.
4. Save it as New Component, with a proper name
5. In case of Live Components, you'd also need to copy and paste the Footer code in Custom Code section of the Settings
How do you handle taxes?
We use Paddle to handle this for us. During checkout, the tax is determined by the country you're located in and added on top of the SystemFlow price. The tax is usually removed when you add company TAX ID (subject to the reverse charge).
Can I get the invoice?
Yes. We process payments with Paddle. In the checkout you can add your TAX ID, and after purchase completion, you will receive a link to the invoice. On the invoice you can then modify the company details and add some additional data (such as PO etc.)
Can I get the refund?
For a limited time. If for any reason SystemFlow is not what you've expected, we'll process the refund if you contact us within 7 days of purchase - just drop us a line to hello@systemflow.co. That being said we assume that there's really no need for buying SystemFlow without checking it out first - full version of both Webflow and Figma files are available for preview. Please, make use of this files before purchasing!
What's next for SystemFlow?
A lot! We'll be shipping new components (including live) each month. We'll be working on bringing design tools closer to Webflow, too - working on Figma Auto Layout and Export. We believe SystemFlow might at some point bridge the gap between design and development and at some point in time, generate readymade website from the layout in Figma or Sketch!
